33. On April 26th, Minneapolis/St. Paul received 1.46 inches of rain, record rains, as reported by the local news stations. This was the most rain ever for that specific day. Well, since we've been measuring these sorts of things anyway, which hasn't really been that long.
Local professional sports team also canceled game to be held at the soggy outdoor sports stadium that afternoon. This is the team who said they wanted an outdoor stadium, to play some real baseball, raised taxes to help pay for it, threatened to leave if they weren't given the tax money, despite apparently being owned by a wealthy corporation with deep pockets, just like most every other stadium/team in the league, and they can't even play in the &^@$*@# rain?
Yeah, if playing a game is going to endanger lives, cancel the damn game but otherwise, you owe it to the people blindly feeding your organization to give them a show.
