Photographers, July brings us Independence Day and the start of the 2012 Summer Olympics so we're looking at creating a red, white and blue header.  We're not looking at specific patriotic items like American flags and what not.  Image submissions should either be predominantly (at least 80%) red, white or blue, and of any subject matter.

Mal will need your images as soon as possible so the new header can be completed in time for the Fourth of July, which is next week.

The next header-challenge

Mal has come up with a great idea for the next challenge and we wanted to give Photographers a heads up.  We're looking at creating something like this:

This header will require six (and only six) participants to photograph one of the sign language letters above.  More details will come some time next month but Photographers will not be required to replicate the black background in the examples above.  We like to show off our diversity here at NVP.
